Spires, Doors, and Other Stuff I Liked in Washington, DC

The FBI eye. And the only one I saw. Strange. Maybe cutbacks, huh.

The "required" picture of the rotunda and "Freedom," the statue on top. Great hat!

Love those bricks.

Clara Barton's office is now a Starbuck's.

Flowers at Union Station.

No, it's not really blue.

Don't know for sure what this building was, but I liked the sculpture.

Not the National Cathedral (at least, I don't think so).

Neither was this.

The trolley was going way too fast. Next time.

I especially liked the stained glass panels.

I'm not sure what this building is, but there is something significant about the flags. I'll sit close the the guide when we go back. But I liked the building, even without the flag story.

Just the top, for now.

The door to the Metropolitan Club, an exclusive men's club. A homeless guy on the doorstep. At least the place is good for something.

Better picture coming after next trip.
