Mothra II, Oil Painted Version

A visit from Mothra's cousin (see way below). Does anybody know what kind of moth this is? It was on our front door the other day (I think this is an Imperial Moth, Eacles imperialis--the field guide shows lots of variations in patterns on the wings).

Andy Warhol Would Be Proud (maybe)

This picture is going to be matted and framed as a gift for Kristofer and Anna. Maybe they will hang it in their new house. The former owner had an oil painted copy of The Scream (painted by his mother) hanging by the front door. Thought I'd try to carry on the tradition of the house.

And The Senators Collectively Exhaled

David helped me chase down this balloon the other day. Not a cloud in sight.

Cape May

Visited Cape May on Monday and got my feet in the sand, if only to take some pictures. Next week, maybe the water?

T-Ball Trappings 2007

Good game, good game, good game, good game, good game, good game . .

Pillow on Legs.

This pillow keeps following me around. Oh, well. One can always use a nap.

Apple Mocha Latte, Anyone?

I heard birds raising a commotion in the yard the other day and went out to find this guy slithering down a tree. He probably had just lunched on a nest of eggs or baby birds. Black rat snake, BTW.
